Position Summary:
Role in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of products. involves overseeing the procurement, storage, and dispensing, as well as providing expert guidance on matters to internal teams and clients. ensures compliance with national regulatory standards and contributes to the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) and other relevant regulatory bodies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations to ensure company adherence.
Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of l products, ensuring proper storage conditions, stock levels, and expiration date monitoring. Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures for all products. Address any quality issues promptly and coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
Client Support: Provide expert advice to clients regarding products, including usage, dosage, and potential interactions. Assist in addressing client inquiries and concerns related to medications.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including procurement, dispensing, and inventory logs. Prepare reports for internal review and regulatory submissions as required.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Stay abreast of industry developments to inform training content.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a University of Karachi. Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical role, within a scientific and healthcare supply company.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
